Ferran Torres recently spoke on a Spanish talk show about his current form, which has already netted four goals, and the national team striker admitted it is the best form he has ever been in.
Despite the fact that Ferran Torres was primarily a substitute at the beginning of the season, the Spanish national team striker is number two on the team’s internal top scorer list, while he was the top scorer in the pre-season matches. Generally speaking, things are going much more in the right direction for Torres compared to last season.
It was the Spanish talk show, El Hormiguero, which had the Barca striker Ferran Torres over for a short chat about how things are going much better for him, the 23-year-old striker could then also say that he feels better this year compared to last year.
‘At the moment I feel like I have a lot of confidence and belief in myself and I’m really grateful for the people around me. The truth is that it is more difficult to regain confidence than to come back from an injury,’ began Ferran Torres.
‘Last season was really tough, because I got injured at a time when my confidence was already not where it should be. Now things are different and I think this season is my best ever. I have learned an enormous amount, which has helped to build the Ferran Torres who is sitting here today,’ he continued.
Ferran Torres has only needed 444 minutes to score four goals this season, and especially at the start of the season, the Spain international striker was highly effective in front of goal, at one point notching three goals in just 127 minutes.
