From the summer, Barca secured the Brazilian attacking talent Vitor Roque, who comes from the club Athletico Paranaense. Attacking legend Romário has high praise for Roque, calling him the country’s most complete striker.
”Roque is the most complete striker in Brazil”, says the country’s attacking legend Romário about his perspective on Vitor Roque, according to Mundo Deportivo. Romário will also involve the other great talent Endrick from Palmeiras, who will switch to rivals from Real Madrid this summer.
”I don’t think you should compare today’s strikers with Ronaldo and myself from back then. But both Roque and Endrick have the skills and qualities to leave Paranense and Palmeiras and go to clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid”.
”I am sure that they can become great idols who can make a difference. If you ask me, I imagine that both of them will be in Brazil’s national team for the next World Cup finals”, concludes Romário.
Romário himself played in Barca from 1993 to 1995 and was particularly dangerous in his first season in the Catalan club. In the 1993/94 season he scored 32 goals in 47 games, and in 1995 he switched to Brazilian football and Flamengo.
