Joao Cancelo was visibly disappointed when he lined up to comment in the mixed zone after the 1-1 draw against Valencia. He felt that the team should have scored many more goals and that the one point was not enough at all.
“The one point doesn’t seem like much. We were superior and had chances for three or four goals and then we’re left with a single point. It’s a bad result for us and the league is starting to look difficult, but we have to fight on,” he began.
“We have a very young team and we are in the middle of a difficult time. Barca is a club that is used to winning and it is one of the biggest clubs in the world. There is a lot of pressure, but personally, it is something I like it because I’m used to it. I only want to win. When I was 20 years old I didn’t think the same way as now. The pressure affects me in a different way today. It’s something I’ve learned” said he further.
“This point doesn’t have much value. Nobody will remember that we played a good game, only that it ended in a draw” he concluded.
