Pedri was the first player to meet the media after the 1-1 draw against Valencia. Here he did not hide his great disappointment at the draw, although he also saw progress in the team’s game.
“Anything that isn’t three points is a hard blow for us. We did a lot of things well, but we need to score goals. We improved our game a lot compared to the game against Girona and we have to move on from here,” he began.
“We are not in a good period. There are bad periods in every season, but we have to get out of this one because we have already lost a lot of points” continued the midfielder.
Pedri was asked about the criticism of Xavi. “We all stand behind our coach. This is not a good period for any of us. The coach is the first to get angry when we lose” concluded Pedri before going down to the dressing room.
