Before the home match against Almeria on Wednesday, Rafa Yuste gave an interview in which the vice-president made harsh criticism of both the press and all those who are currently questioning Xavi.
It has previously been reported that Xavi refers to the team and the management as a big family, and that history was confirmed by the vice-president, Rafa Yuste, when he spoke in capital letters on Wednesday evening in his call to support the team.
“Xavi says it very well, we are a family. It’s easy to say, but it’s about the feeling of being together about things, standing together and feeling together”, Yuste began to TV station Movistar.
“Both Xavi and I agree that the environment does not support us enough. We all need help and support, Xavi, the players, the president and the board. Everyone needs us to stand together as a family”, continued Yuste before being asked to elaborate on who he defines as the “detours”.
“It’s all of you and all of us. It’s not just the press, it’s all of them who create negativity. We need positive thinking. Now Vitor Roque is coming soon and he will help us in the attack, and at the same time Deco is watching , what we need most after the loss of Gavi”.
After the defeats to Girona and Royal Antwerp and the subsequent draw against Valencia, the players finally had a successful experience when Almeria were sent home from the last league game of the year with a 3-2 defeat.
