The reports from Barcelona are currently that Barca will bring the on-loan central defender Chadi Riad home to the club from Real Betis this summer. In this connection, the Catalans should have decided to sell one of the current central defenders.
The 20-year-old Chadi Riad was loaned out to Real Betis this summer and here the Moroccan has impressed to such an extent that he has become a regular in the Andalusian central defence. Riad has thus played in Betis’ last 12 league games in a row, where it has been full time in 10 of them. Barca should therefore have decided to bring back Chadi Riad after the current season.
With the approach of Chadi Riad to the central defense, Barca should have simultaneously decided to sell one of the central defenders in the squad. Here, the talk has mainly focused on Jules Koundé and Andreas Christensen, while Ronald Araújo, Iñigo Martínez and the loanee Eric García are also advised. However, the latter two are hardly worth mentioning.
